Q1. What or who inspired you to work in investing?

I’ve always been inspired by those working to make the world a better place. Joining the industry has allowed me to meet and work with people who use investments to do just that – as well as grow both personally and professionally.

Q2. What do you think the future looks like for women in investing? What would you like to see?

When most sectors are embracing inclusion and diversity and creating new ways to welcome and embrace talent, it is shocking that we have dropped from 14% female fund managers in 2000 to 11% in 2020. As an industry, we need to reflect and understand what we can do to make it more appealing to women to join and remain in the industry.

Q3. What is your attitude to investment risk?

It's all about the balance between risk and reward. I am wary of the ‘reward’ if it comes at the detriment of people and our planet.

Q4. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Time travel - I think it be great to go forward to the year 3000 to see how everything turns out…!

Q5. Tell us your motto or if you don’t live by one, why not?

Be logical and methodical, but always trust your gut
