Q1. What or who inspired you to work in investing?

Having a career in a field where I would be constantly learning was really important to me. Working in investment management meant that I could use the analytical skills that I had developed from my science-based degrees in a collaborative environment.

Q2. What do you think the future looks like for women in investing? What would you like to see?

We need to see more diversity as a whole. Although a lot more still needs to be done, the introduction of hybrid working and the push to have more gender balance at junior levels will eventually lead to equal representation, including more women in leadership roles.

Q3. What is your attitude to investment risk?

It depends on the circumstances and the goals or objectives that I’m trying to achieve. I’m willing to take more risk when I believe I have the capacity to do so. Regardless of the investment, I’ll always make sure that I have researched the idea thoroughly.

Q4. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Time traveling- investment decision making certainly becomes a lot easier if you can see the future!

Q5. Tell us your motto or if you don’t live by one, why not?

“A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong”.
