Q1. What or who inspired you to work in investing?

My uncle had a very successful job in finance and so the appeal of working in The City lured me in as an obvious graduation from my degree in Mathematics. I found the idea of making money from money fascinating. And I still think fund managers have one of the best jobs in the world.

Q2. What do you think the future looks like for women in investing? What would you like to see?

The future : an inclusive asset management industry that does not differentiate nor indeed need to champion women because we have achieved our aspirations on equality

Q3. What is your attitude to investment risk?

Investment risk enables us to exploit inefficiencies in the market to generate superior excess returns for clients within their parameters of expected volatility and risk.

Q4. If you had a superpower, what would it be?

To make everyone laugh and smile no matter what. Happiness is everything

Q5. Tell us your motto or if you don’t live by one, why not?

Appreciate everyone for their strengths not their weaknesses. Everyone has value and everyone has shortcomings.
